The McDonald’s Corporation is the worlds
largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants it is serving around 68
million of customers daily in 119 countries across 35,000 outlets. McDonald’s
headquartered in the United States, the company are began in 1940 as a barbecue
restaurant which is operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald. Their
introduction of the “Speed Service System” in 1948 furthered the principles of the modern
fast-food restaurants that the White Castle hamburger chain had already put
into practice which more than two decades earlier. The original mascot of
MacDonald’s was a man with a chef’s hat on top of hamburger shaped man whose
name was “Speedee”. By 1967, Speedee was eventually replaced with Ronald
MacDonald when the company first filed a U.S trademark on a clown shaped man
having puffed out costume legs.
McDonald’s reorganized their business as a
hamburger stand by using a production line principle. A business man Ray Kroc
has joined the company as a franchise agent. Ray Kroc subsequently purchased
the chain from the McDonalds brothers and oversaw its worldwide growth.
McDonald’s restaurants
is operated by either the franchise or an affiliate or the actual itself. The
MacDonald’s cooperation revenues also come from the rent, royalties and it also
come from franchisee that the franchisee fees being paid to them. Not only have
those, the revenues also come from the sales in the company-operated
restaurants.
In 2012, the company
had a annual revenues of $27.5 billion and the profit $5.5 billion. The
MacDonald’s also is the world’s that is the second largest private employer
which is behind Walmart that is 1.9 million employees, 1.5 million of whim work
for franchises.

soft drinks, milkshakes, and dessert. In order to response the changing of the
consumers tastes, the company has expanded its menu to include salads, fish,
wraps smoothies, fruit and seasoned fries.

its way in December 1980 when the MacDonald’s Corporation, USA gave the GOLDEN
ARCHES RESTAURANTS SDN.BHD the license to operate the MacDonald’s in Malaysia.
Tan Sri Vincent Tan is the first person to bring the franchise under Golden
Arches Group of Restaurants.
Malaysia got the first taste of
MacDonald’s is when the MacDonald’s opened its restaurants at Jalan Bukit
Bintang, Kuala Lumpur on 29 April 1982. To the date, MacDonald’s Malaysia has
182 restaurants located at nationwide and is currently expanding at about 10-15
restaurants annually. MacDonald’s also has created a many job opportunities in
Malaysia. MacDonald’s Malaysia employs more than 7,000 local people with 120 supports
of staff at its headquarters managing the day-to-day operations of the
business. Not only that, there also has a regional office in Penang and Johor
Bahru.

From the survey that I have survey
on customer at the McDonald’s Plaza Merdeka, Kuching, the most that went to
McDonnald’s is young generation and family which is their go with their friend,
couple or parents that bring their family to the McDonald’s restaurants. This
is because the environment which is gives a positive difference in society.
First are the sources of the food and packages sustainability, people which is
McDonald’s has been creating a sustainability to communicate with the customer
and the cleanliness of the place.

recommend this McDonald’s outlet to their friend and family. Other than that,
the customer also says that the menu is easy o read and there also have a lot
of choices.
From my own experience as a loyalty customer,
the customer service at the McDOnald’s are being provided very satisfied me and
the fasted of their work when it come to ordering. Moreover, they also provide
the service without any fuss and the workers at the McDonald’s also answer my
question with kindly and sincerely.
